Building the brand, design system, and improving aiAvenu's ATS (Application Tracking System) software as a solo designer. My main tasks were related to improving aiAvenu's suite of features and building their design system. This case study is focused on applicant screening, filtering, and scoring.

The general challenges as the incoming Product Designer and fresh college graduate were that there was no established design system, no brand guidelines, and I'd work as a solo designer (product, web, branding, motion, and marketing design), on an adaptable schedule (participating in meetings from 5:00 AM - 6:30 AM) with an international dev team.
Holistically, this project is a large task for any individual as the current application has over 200+ interactions.
Introduced a new project management solution that allows all departments to stay organized, prioritize tasks, and assign responsibilities and deadlines per upper management's priorities.

Upon auditing the experience of the old applicant's page, I noticed there was a language barrier that adversely impacted the content design of the page. This page is the most important in the entire application. Our clients needed a more feasible and intuitive experience.

I am happy with the final product. I have significantly improved the usability of the most frequently used page, All Applicants. Working on AI-powered tools was an amazing experience. I was able to improve the user experience, display data effectively, and optimize how we collect data to improve our LLM. I am continuing to work alongside our clients to improve our products and features. Our next steps will include updates to the scoring system, the addition of more AI features, and automation tools.
